The idea of a three day wedding is always a really GOOD idea, but rarely does it leave the bride with much breathing room or sanity by the time it comes down to the week of. If you can afford a planner and not to mention the budget of such an event, then by all means I would say go for it. It's always ten times more memorable when you get married out of town, simply because the little activities that you plan for when the whole gang gets there is always going to make lasting impressions. I love day-after brunches, little hampers in the rooms, little maps and suggestions for touring the area. I came across this picture of an old Jag and I thought how cool would this look in a board for a really elegant but FRESH out of town wedding? I tried to update the traditional look of things by putting in a surprise touch of coral to the palette of gardenia white and emerald green. Definitely a good way to start the new year!
I'm a 23 year old mother/event stylist who loves to eat, drink, dance and walk the streets without a conscience. I say what I want and mean what I say - if you're too concerned with the common opinion then life will often be limited... Do what you please every day! (As long as it's healthy, that is!)
I started this blog because I had been making inspiration boards for just about everything else (at school it was for fashion forecasting), for as long as I can remember - and now I'm getting to the fine print - none of these images belong to me unless I post personal photos. I'm going to try to credit the owners as much as I can, although most of my pictures come from theknot.com, Brides.com, Google Images and stock photos. If your photo winds up here and you feel misrepresented, please feel free to leave a message or comment and I will gladly remove the image as soon as possible.
How This Blog Works
When I post content, I usually segregate them into different categories. I'm inspired by so many things in a day, whether by a simple color scheme or a piece of music. You'll find most of the boards sorted out with tags...
Nouveau (...) : Means new. I want to make boards that boast new concepts, not like any other boards online these days. I want to be able to blog about event style - and I'll try not to limit it to weddings because birthdays and showers are fun to style too!
Whatever I come across that I find interesting, I'll share it with you: recipes, beautiful pictures, song clips - sky's the limit here.
